Last week, Microsoft released a new service called Microsoft Teams, which is a direct competitor to the very popular Slack. Team is a way for Microsoft to gain some of the marketshare away from Slack and to draw those users into the Office 365 eomsystems.
Microsoft defines Teams as "Microsoft Teams is an entirely new experience that brings together people, conversations and content—along with the tools that teams need—so they can easily collaborate to achieve more. It’s naturally integrated with the familiar Office applications and is built from the ground up on the Office 365 global, secure cloud".
While performing a regular check in of the Office 365 Roadmap, I discovered that Microsoft has announced that Exchange Online customers who have mailboxes assinged with E3 or E5 licenses will have their mailbox size limited increased from 50GB to 100GB.
